AMMAN — Forty-five representatives of industrial companies from across Jordan on Saturday signed grant agreements to benefit from the second phase of a programme implemented by the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO). The European Union (EU)-funded three million euro programme seeks to increase the competitiveness of micro and medium businesses in the local and international markets, according to a statement received by The Jordan Times. During the signing ceremony, JEDCO Chief Executive Officer Yarub Qudah said the corporation has managed through the programme’s first phase to support 1,764 projects with a total value of JD6.3 million, in addition to extending JD10.6 million euro in financial support to 589 industrial entities under another EU-funded programme.

Nineteen representatives of industrial and agricultural companies signed this week grant agreements to benefit from programmes implemented by the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO).
Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) and the European Union (EU) delegation in Jordan on Tuesday signed an agreement for the second tranche of a grant to finance the last phase of the EU-funded Jordan Services Modernisation Programme (JSMPII).
Twenty-nine companies on Thursday signed grant agreements worth more than 1.6 million euros under the second phase of the EU-funded Jordan Services Modernisation Programme.
