Meetings begin to draw up post-2015 Development Agenda

AMMAN — The Planning Ministry in cooperation with the UN office in Jordan on Sunday organised the first meeting between ministers and parties concerned with drawing up the post-2015 Development Agenda. The meeting aimed at raising awareness on the agenda and to boost cooperation between UN agencies and Jordanian ministries in the field.
Eleven people were injured on Monday in a collision between a trailer that had a Saudi licence plate and a public transportation bus that works on the Mafraq-Zarqa route.
Anil Trigunayat, ambassador of the Republic of India to Jordan, and Hatem Halawani, minister of industry, trade and supply, discussed on Wednesday bilateral relations, especially in the fields of trade and investment, energy and capacity-building cooperation.
Her Majesty Queen Rania on Monday attended the closing session of a two-day regional workshop on the Post-2015 Development Priorities for the Arab world, and called for such important gatherings to be held annually.
