‘Starting in 2019, some facilities at ministry’s hospitals will be closed on Saturdays’

AMMAN — Minister of Health Ghazi Zaben, announced on Saturday that starting next year, some facilities at the Health Ministry’s hospitals will be closed on Saturdays, but various departments in the hospitals will continue providing services depending on the nature of their work.
The decision was taken after separate meetings with health officials in the Kingdom’s governorates and the ministry’s hospital directors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister said improving the level of health services delivered to the public was a key goal that needed perseverance to meet, adding that improving the conditions and working environment for staff is a top ministry priority.
