‘Those detained by Israeli authorities not Jordanian’ — JAF

AMMAN — An official military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF) issued a clarification to some of the hearsay that had spread through social media about Israeli occupation forces’ arrest of Jordanian citizens, on Sunday morning, explaining that the detainees were non-Jordanian, but Arab nationals who had lost their way and wandered past the Israeli border before being arrested.

JAF’s General Command affirmed that all those who publish such false news must first confirm its accuracy and credibility before publishing it, adding that information must be taken from credible sources so as to prevent confusion among citizens, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
