20 injured in Irbid traffic accident

AMMAN — Twenty people were injured on Thursday when the driver of a large truck lost control of his vehicle and collided with 27 other vehicles in Irbid, 80km north of Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Civil Defence Department personnel administered first aid to the injured and took them to Prince Rashid Hospital, where their conditions varied between good and fair.
The department thanked the citizens at the accident site, who helped the civil defence and police personnel in transferring the injured immediately to the hospital.
