‘30,000 sheep from Mafraq exported to Gulf markets in June’

AMMAN — Thirty thousand sheep were exported from Mafraq Governorate to the Gulf markets in June, according to Mafraq Agriculture Department Director Awni Shdeifat, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Sunday.
Shdeifat said that the export of sheep by livestock farmers is carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, in line with health and legal requirements. The total number of sheep exported to the Gulf markers since the beginning of the year stand at 230,000, Petra reported.
