MEDINA — Around 5,600 Jordanian pilgrims have arrived in Mecca for Hajj (the greater Muslim pilgrimage), the Awqaf Ministry said Saturday.

Abdulrahman Shahin, president of the Jordanian Hajj mission, said the guidance and administrative mission is following up on the pilgrims’ condition, and the medical mission has provided healthcare services to Jordanian and non-Jordanian pilgrims.

He also noted that the mission team in Mecca was ready to receive pilgrims and house them in their designated areas.
