Ad hoc panel to run Qriqra and Feynan Municipality

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Tuesday decided to dissolve the Qriqra and Feynan Municipality council and form an ad hoc committee to run it until the council’s term concludes.
The committee will be headed by Abdullah Saidiyeen with the same council members who won in the last municipal elections.
Municipal Affairs Minister Walid Masri had recently requested that the Cabinet issue a final decision regarding the vacant mayoral position in the municipality after the death of the mayor last month.
