Agriculture directorate to build fence on Syrian border to restrict boars’ entry

AMMAN — The Ramtha Agriculture Directorate is scheduled next week to build a fence on the Jordanian-Syrian border to protect farms in the district from wild boars coming from Syria, Agriculture Director Hussein Khaldi said on Sunday.
Khaldi said the fence will be eight kilometres long with a cost of JD35,000, and is considered the best way to keep boars away from agricultural lands, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
