AND foil attempt to smuggle 60,000 pills out of Kingdom

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel on Saturday foiled an alleged attempt to smuggle 60,000 narcotic pills out of Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The AND received information about two persons from an Arab nationality who were preparing to smuggle an amount of narcotics through Queen Alia International Airport.
Upon further investigation, AND's personnel were able to determine the time of the two suspects' arrival to the airport and arrested them before leaving the Kingdom.
