Ankara embassy launches consular communication channel

AMMAN — The Jordanian Embassy in Ankara on Sunday announced the launch of a direct line to the consular department through WhatsApp on the number +905384419586.
An official statement by the Foreign Ministry, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, said the intention is to bolster communication with the Jordanian community in Turkey and improve services tendered to them.
The application allows Jordanians in Turkey to contact the embassy for inquiries and emergency cases round the clock through voice or written messages, where embassy employees can reply to these messages within 24 hours. The embassy has received more than 3,810 messages since launching the services, and its employees responded to all of them.
Jordanians around the world, in case of emergency, can contact its operations centre a round the clock at +962795497777.
