Army chief meets with US military delegation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Monday met with the US Commander of Special Operations in Syria and Iraq Maj. Gen. James Kraft, and his accompanying delegation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Freihat and Kraft discussed the latest developments in neighbouring countries, with a special focus on the war against the Daesh terror group in Syria and Iraq.
