‘Around 2,000 tourists visited Muslim shrines in Karak in July’

SOUTHERN MAZAR — A total of 1,919 Arabs and Muslims visited the shrines of Prophet Mohammad’s companions in Southern Mazar District in Karak in July, said Ashraf Btoush, the sites’ technical and administrative supervisor, on Monday.

Jaafar Bin Abi Taleb, Zeid Bin Haretha and Abdullah Bin Rawaha, the leaders of the Mutah battle against the Byzantines in 629AD, are buried in Southern Mazar.
