AMMAN — Australia’s Governor General Peter Cosgrove and his wife on Thursday visited the command of the rapid reaction forces where they were briefed on the tasks and duties of the forces, and on their training programmes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The delegation visited the recently established simulation centre for coordinating ground fire with air (SAVT), and they were acquainted with the services it provides in the field of training.
SAVT, which simulates potential real-life challenges, is the only centre in the Middle East. The governor voiced his appreciation for the commander and the officers present during the visit.
