Cabinet approves land sale to Hijaz Railway

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the sale of a four-dunum plot of land located within the boundaries of the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Residential City in Zarqa to the Jordan Hijaz Railway Corporation for its railway project linking Amman with Zarqa in cooperation with Turkish State Railways and the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency.
During Wednesday’s meeting, the Cabinet also endorsed the 2015 amendments to the Civil Aviation Law and a memorandum of understanding on academic cooperation between the Jordanian and Mexican foreign ministries.
