AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the mandating reasons for the draft by-law of licensing and accreditation 2017, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The by-law, sent by the Jordan Securities Commission, seeks to regulate the requirements and affairs of licensing for people to practise financial services businesses and disclosures of already-licensed persons.
The Cabinet also approved the Financial Decentralisation Policies Paper, which outlines the roadmap and approach to be followed by the government during the implementation of the financial decentralisation in the governorates. The paper will be revised and updated yearly, according to Petra.
