Cabinet makes new appointments

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Wednesday decided to appoint Abeer Zuhair as General Manager of the Jordan Institution for Standards and Metrology.
Zuhair’s appointment came as a result of her scoring the highest among all applicants, who were interviewed by the ministerial committee designated to appoint leadership posts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
The Cabinet also decided to appoint Tariq Iraiqat and Omar Jazi as members of the board of directors of the Government Investment Management Company, and Mohammad Khalaileh as member of the Higher Education Council.
