Cabinet transfers ownership of land in Dabouq to army
Feb 16,2014 - Last updated at Feb 16,2014
AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday decided to transfer the ownership of the land on which the Development Business Complex is located in Dabouq to the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF).
The Cabinet’s decision was based on the law interpretation bureau’s opinion, which said that JAF is a financially and administratively independent entity that has the rights to ownership, and that there is nothing that bans the Cabinet from using its authority to transfer the ownership of Treasury lands directly to JAF without referring to other parties.
