AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) will install cameras in tunnels to measure water levels during winter in a bid to reduce congestion and deal promptly with accidents.
The cameras will be linked with GAM’s command and control centre, according to deputy director of the municipality’s public works, Yassir Attiyat.
The move is part of GAM’s winter preparations that started two weeks ago.
