CDD chief visits stations in Zarqa, Mafraq

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) Director Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiah on Wednesday checked on several CDD stations in Zarqa and Mafraq governorates, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Bazaiah stressed the humanitarian role played by the CDD to provide protection and safety to citizens and their properties and to safeguard national resources.
During his meeting with CDD personnel, he pointed out “the importance of upgrading the services, taking into consideration accidents involving trucks carrying inflammable materials in these governorates”.
