AMMAN — The Centre for Strategic Studies (CSS) at the King Abdullah II Academy for Defence Studies hosted on Sunday a conference titled “Poland, Jordan and the Visegrad countries”. The conference, held in cooperation with the Polish embassy in Amman, was aimed at bolstering cooperation between the CSS and the Polish embassy.
The conference tackled several issues that include the current situation in the Middle East, Daesh, the EU and the refugee crisis, in addition to the Palestinian-Israeli peace process. The Visegrad Group is an alliance of four Central European states — the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
