AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Monday chaired a meeting at the Prime Ministry to follow up on the implementation mechanism for the government’s economic priorities programme.
During the meeting, Crown Prince Hussein stressed the need to coordinate among the concerned ministries and departments to execute the programme, highlighting the role of the delivery unit at the Prime Ministry in guaranteeing full implementation, according to a Royal Court statement.
The government’s economic priorities programme (2021-2023) seeks to advance economic growth and to direct the national economy towards recovery after the slowdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
For his part, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh showcased the implementation mechanism for the programme, which was officially launched two weeks ago.
He said the follow-up unit at the Prime Ministry provides technical support to address challenges that may arise throughout implementation.
