Deputy PM discusses bilateral ties with US ambassador

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Awad Khleifat on Sunday met with US Ambassador Stuart Jones and discussed means to foster bilateral cooperation at all levels.
The minister underlined the importance of the Jordanian-US partnership in the political and economic fields.
Jones voiced his country’s support for Jordan’s reform efforts, and expressed appreciation of the Kingdom for hosting Syrian refugees despite its economic difficulties.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Awad Khleifat on Saturday discussed bilateral cooperation and the latest regional developments with US Ambassador Stuart E. Jones.
Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Awad Khleifat on Thursday met with US embassy Chargé d’Affaires Madelyn Spirnak and discussed prospects for further bilateral cooperation.
Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh on Wednesday met with US Ambassador to Jordan Stuart E. Jones to discuss bilateral ties and means to develop them, especially at the economic and parliamentary levels.
