AMMAN — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Tuesday met with Canadian Minister of Public Safety Vic Toews and discussed bilateral ties and means to further enhance cooperation.

The premier commended the level of cooperation between Jordan and Canada.

The two officials also examined the latest regional developments, particularly the Syrian crisis and its impact on the region.

Ensour highlighted services Jordan provides to Syrian refugees, which impose a burden on the Kingdom’s already scarce resources.
