AMMAN — The Jordan Exporters Association on Saturday held a workshop on the opportunities and challenges facing women in small-and medium-sized enterprises who seek to export companies’ products, with the support of USAID and the Centre for International Private Enterprise.
The workshop focused on economic challenges facing exports in light of regional instability, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The workshop also discussed the opportunities made available by the trade agreements signed between the Kingdom and several countries, especially European countries and the US, in addition to the effect of online trade in supporting small enterprises to enter and expand in new markets.
During panel discussions held on the sidelines of the workshop, businesswomen presented their export experiences and steps to be taken to overcome challenges and reach international markets.
