AMMAN — A fire that erupted on Sunday damaged empty fruits and vegetables boxes that were stored in several warehouses near the vegetable central market in Irbid.
Western Irbid Civil Defence Department (CDD) firefighters extinguished the fire that started in one warehouse and moved to others because of the brisk wind, a CDD source told the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The source added that damages were limited to warehouses’ contents and nobody was injured in the fire.
