Foreign minister warns Jordanians in Paris to avoid protest hotspots

AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Friday called on Jordanians residing in Paris to avoid the places where demonstrations take place and exercise caution in Paris, according to a statement by the ministry.
For assistance, the Embassy of Jordan in Paris advised its citizens to contact the embassy at 0033783849487 or directly contact the ministry's operations centre at 00962795497777 for emergencies.
The embassy also asked Jordanian citizens to follow up the warnings and advertisements issued by the Paris municipality regarding road closures through https://www.paris.fr/manifestations8decembre. Paris witnessed recently protests against high fuel taxes, Petra said.
