Four arrested for allegedly filming assault on citizen

AMMAN — The Royal Badia Forces on Wednesday arrested four suspects who allegedly assaulted a citizen and filmed him during the attack, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
A security source said the suspects reportedly attacked the victim in a farm and that, after resistance from the suspects, the Royal Badia patrols, Preventive Security Department and Criminal Investigation Department managed to rescue the unconscious victim.
The victim, who was immediately transferred to the hospital, was identified as a dangerous and wanted person. The source noted that a firearm was also seized at the site of the attack.
After investigation, the suspects admitted to physically attacking the victim, after he had kidnapped a female relative. The source added that the person who had been kidnapped has been called in and was reported to be in a good condition.
The case is now to be referred to the general prosecutor.
