AMMAN — Border guards have arrested four people who attempted to illegally enter the Kingdom from Syria, an informed source from the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) said Sunday.
The four were injured after they ignored calls and warning shots fired into the air by the border guards, who took them to the nearest healthcare centre for treatment, the JAF source added.
Meanwhile, three people who have Jordanian and Arab nationalities and were members of one of the groups fighting in Syria have turned themselves in to the border guards, who referred them to the concerned agencies.
