Fourteen mosques to receive new carpets under Royal directives

AMMAN — Under the directives of His Majesty His Majesty King Abdullah, a Royal initiative was launched to renovate 14 mosques in various governorates of the Kingdom on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Awqaf Minister Abdul Nasser Abul Bassal said, under the initiative, the Royal Hashemite Court provide carpets to various masques at a total area of 16,000 sq.m “This initiative is an affirmation of the special care the Hashemites give to mosques, given their role in bringing Muslims together, spreading the values and teachings of Islam and its tolerant message.”
