Fuheis municipality refuses to renew Lafarge permit

AMMAN — Fuheis Municipality has refused to renew the Jordan Lafarge Cement Company's work permit for failing to implement the provisions of an agreement signed with the municipality.

 Fuheis Mayor Huweishel Akroush on Saturday said the company did not pay its dues to the municipality, accumulated in return for using its resources, such as water, noting that it also did not abide by other items outlined in the agreement.
