AMMAN — Generations For Peace (GFP), the Jordan-based global peace-building organisation, said on Sunday it has become a member of the Anna Lindh Foundation Network.

The Anna Lindh Foundation Network is an inter-governmental institution bringing together over 4,000 civil society organisations involved in the promotion of intercultural dialogue across Europe and the Mediterranean to build trust and improve mutual understanding.

GFP said in a statement it will share and exchange knowledge and best practice with the Anna Lindh Foundation Network to promote dialogue and overcome prejudices and stereotypes which affect relations between and within societies in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
