AMMAN — The Jordan World Youth Summit 2019 was held at the Dead Sea on Saturday with the participation of Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson Jumana Ghunaimat.

In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Ghunaimat said the government was keen on including youth in political, economic and social issues, and that they are a key force in driving change.

During the summit, which was attended by participants from 39 countries, the minister added that the government was aware of youth’s potential and was working to organise activities to promote their capabilities.

The summit was also attended by a number of ministers, MPs, ambassadors and military officials, and was organised in line with the sixth iteration of his Majesty King Abdullah’s Discussion Papers, according to Petra.
