Goodwill Campaign supports Zarqa women establish home-based projects

AMMAN — The Goodwill Campaign, implemented by the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD), on Monday presented aid to women in Zarqa to help them establish home-based production projects, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

The aid comes within the framework of efforts in supporting Jordanian women, financially empowering them, improving their lives and enhancing their role in society in order to achieve social and economic development. 

HRH Princess Basma, the president of the Goodwill Campaign’s higher committee, praised Jordanian women's ability to rely on themselves and turn challenges into opportunities.

During Princess Basma's meeting with several women at Khawla Bint Al Azwar charity, she highlighted the value of home-based projects in helping families and providing them with stable income. 

Princess Basma also pointed out the importance of diversifying these projects, praising the efforts of the society and its role in serving women and the local community.

 

The chairty's president, Abeer Abusleih, presented the objectives of the charity and its programmes that are targeted to help underprivileged families and enable women and girls to be active in society through economic empowerment.
