Health minister visits child who suffered electric shock

AMMAN — Health Minister Mahmoud Sheyyab on Thursday checked on the health of a child who was transferred from Maan Hospital to Al Bashir Hospital after he suffered an electric shock.
Issam Khawaja, the doctor supervising Alaa Sarhan, said the shock caused the child’s heart to stop, which required medical intervention and artificial respiration once he arrived in Maan Hospital, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The doctor said that Sarhan was still undergoing treatment and in stable condition with indications of improvement.
