Health minister visits King Abdullah hospital in Irbid

AMMAN — Health Minister Saad Jaber on Saturday said that His Majesty King Abdullah had issued directives to buy 200 new CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) devices to enhance capacities for any possible surge in the number of COVID-19 cases. The devices are expected to be delivered to the Kingdom in two weeks, the minister said.
Jaber’s remarks came during his visit to the King Abdullah University Hospital in Irbid to check on the handling of coronavirus casesat the health facility, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister headed a meeting that covered medical procedures for dealing with the pandemic and the quality of healthcare services offered to infected and suspected cases, in addition to ensuring the availability of a strategic reserve of required medical equipment.
