Hearings in casino case continue

AMMAN — The Amman Criminal Court on Wednesday continued to hear testimonies from witnesses in the suspected corruption case known as the “casino file”.

Businessman Issa Zureikat and lawyer Saed Karajeh testified for the prosecution, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

The casino case entailed a deal signed by former premier Marouf Bakhit’s first government with a British investor in 2007 to build and operate a casino on the shores of the Dead Sea, which was later scrapped by the government of Nader Dahabi.
