AMMAN — ICT Minister and Minister of Public Sector Development Majd Shweikeh on Saturday said the government will continue working to support entrepreneurs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Shweikeh also told a group of young entrepreneurs that the government’s interest in this sector stems from a deep conviction that entrepreneurship would largely contribute to growth and to improving the economic sector, in addition to promoting innovation and creativity.
Representatives of a group of ICT start-ups attending the meeting briefed the minister on their success stories and the difficulties they have faced during their companies’ launch and growth. They also offered proposals to develop the sector.
