AMMAN — The Independent Elections Commission (IEC) launched a workshop on Tuesday to simulate the sorting process in parliamentary elections.
IEC Deputy Chief Commissioner Asma Khader said the three-day workshop aims to identify the positive and negative aspects of the current sorting method, analyse gaps and focus on ways to improve the process.
The workshop is co-organised by UNDP and financed by the European Union in partnership with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, according to an IEC statement e-mailed to The Jordan Times.
