AMMAN — The Jordan Open Source Association on Monday decried the government's call on Internet Service Providers to block access to porn sites in the country.

"The government should not interfere in the issue of blocking access to pornographic sites in the country, this should be left for parents and Internet users to decide," Issa Mahasneh, president of the association, which is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2011 to support Internet freedom in Jordan, told The Jordan Times on Monday.
