Irbid resident drowns in well, four suffer food poisoning Madaba

IRBID/MADABA — A man in his 50s drowned on Monday in a well in Jijin village in Irbid Governorate, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD).
CDD personnel administrated first aid to the man and took him to Princess Basma Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Also Monday, four people suffered food poisoning after eating “spoiled” food, according to the CDD.
CDD personnel took them to Al Nadeem Hospital, where their condition was listed as moderate.
A 23-year-old man on Wednesday drowned in a pond in Al Quren region in Irbid Governorate, 80km north of Amman, according to the Civil Defence Department (CDD).
