Israeli demining operations near border to start on Tuesday

AMMAN — Israeli troops will work on removing 341 anti-tank mines in an area opposite the Manshieh area in the Northern Ghor this week, according to the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF).
The mine clearance will begin on Tuesday at 8:00am and end on Thursday at 6:30pm, according to a source from the JAF, who noted that Jordan has requested that Israelis abide by the amounts of explosives previously agreed on during demining operations.
Israeli troops next week will work on removing and detonating 13 anti-tank mines near its borders in the area opposite to the Qarn and Raihaneh areas on the western borders, according to the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF).
The Jordan Armed Forces on Wednesday said Israeli troops will work on removing anti-tank mines in the land opposite Al Rabei area in Deir Alla in Balqa Governorate on Thursday.
Israel will remove and detonate anti-tank mines near its border with Jordan this week in the area opposite Al Rayahneh/Al Mashareh, according to a source from the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) Central Command.
