AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has allocated JD4 million in its 2015 budget to establish parks and pitches in Amman, Mohammad Kharabsheh, GAM’s executive director of engineering, said Wednesday.

Kharabsheh noted that GAM is currently preparing to float tenders for the projects, including starting the third phase of King Abdullah II Park in Muqabalein.

He also said that GAM will soon float a JD180,000 tender to install artificial grass on some pitches in the capital.
