AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in the presence of Japanese Ambassador to Jordan Hidenao Yanagi, on Wednesday received a Japanese grant worth $64,000, as part of a grant programme targeting popular projects and human security implemented by the Japanese embassy.
JHCO bought two forklifts and two manual lifts and installed 49 shelves to increase the storing capacity at its warehouses in Zarqa’s Ghabawi, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said that the new equipment will enable the organisation to store more items to be distributed to the beneficiaries, praising the Japanese government’s efforts in supporting the JHCO’s humanitarian roles.
