AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) has received a new shipment of equipment and ordnance, which will provide 'strong support' for ground troops.
The equipment, which was transported to the JAF warehouses after being unloaded at the Aqaba port last week, is part of the JAF's strategy and plans to develop its defence capabilities and is a qualitative addition to the weapons used in the armed forces.
The consignment includes heavy, medium and light weapons and equipment such as armoured personnel carriers, artillery, and logistical and technical support vehicles.
