AMMAN — Jordan is the safe haven in a war-torn region, making it the most attractive environment for investment, Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Sami Al Saleh said Wednesday.
During a visit to the customs centre at the Mudawara border crossing, Saleh said Jordan’s prosperous investment environment and favourable governmental policies have attracted Arab investors, especially from Saudi Arabia.
He commended the technological and administrative advancements of the Jordan Customs Department (JCD), which, he said, “enjoys a high level of proficiency”.
He also praised JCD personnel’s efforts to foil drug smuggling attempts and their efforts to stop contraband entering Saudi Arabia.
