Jordan backs Security Council resolution on Malaysian plane

AMMAN — Jordan on Monday voted in favour of an Australian-drafted UN Security Council resolution, condemning the downing of Malaysian aircraft MH17 over Ukraine and calling for an international investigation into the incident.
Jordan’s outgoing permanent representative to the UN, HH Prince Zeid called for an independent international investigation to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
