AMMAN — An aid convoy from the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) laden with humanitarian and medical assistance arrived in Gaza on Thursday.

Jordan Field Hospital/Gaza 42 Director Col. Aref Jaraideh said the aid is aimed at alleviating the suffering of Gazans under the hardships they face, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Jaffa Hospital Director Khalil Matar said the assistance arrived at the right time, especially as the hospital suffers a “great shortage” of medical equipment, voicing his appreciation for Jordan’s support, Petra added.
