Jordan to cooperate with China in media

AMMAN — Minister of Media Affairs and Communications Samih Maaytah on Wednesday welcomed the signing of an agreement between the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation and China Central Television.
During a meeting with a Chinese media delegation, Maaytah expressed Jordan’s keenness to cooperate with China in the media field.
Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesperson Samih Maaytah on Wednesday met with Arab Media Forum (AMF) Secretary General Madi Abdullah Khamis and discussed means to enhance coordination between Jordan and the forum.
Radio Jordan on Saturday celebrated its 54th anniversary.
The Kingdom’s tourism sector lost around JD700 million in real and potential revenue last year, the government said on Wednesday.
