Jordan to help foreign citizens leave Gaza

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh received Thursday a phone call from his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry, during which they discussed Gaza developments, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sabah Al Rafie said the ministry’s operations room has been following embassies’ requests to facilitate the departure of their citizens from the Gaza Strip to Jordan.
Several countries, including Norway, Ireland, Serbia, Britain, Austria, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Sweden, Canada, Brazil, Philippines, The Netherlands, Hungary, Australia, Denmark and France have asked the ministry to facilitate the passage of their citizens.
The ministry has been working, in coordination with concerned Jordanian entities to ensure their return home, she noted.
